Finally, it arrived on my hand. This shield is the most expensive i have so far, it took $145 from my pocket. It uses HDG104 chip as wireless module, this chip can handle all the wireless traffic end to end, known as system in-package. It’s amazing, has very low power consumption, as you can see it doesn’t required external dc supply, by using power from usb is enough to handle all the routines.
So far, i have been playing around with the example code from http://arduino.cc/en/Guide/ArduinoWiFiShield, it works very well. The good thing about the shield library, it’s pretty much the same with the arduino ethernet shield, the name of the function and how to use the ones, much easier than I thought.
